Business schools around the world are moving swiftly to ride the wave of change brought by AI. Adding AI specializations to MBA programs has become the norm, and many institutions are also offering various certification programs to train hands-on professionals. IESE Business School in Spain, one of Europe’s most prestigious MBA institutions, has been especially proactive. Even a decade ago—long before AI captured widespread attention—IESE began discussing AI initiatives and recruiting AI experts as faculty. By 2020, it had officially introduced AI courses into its curriculum. Students now use AI tools to practice negotiation skills. This sets IESE apart from other top-tier global MBA programs, many of which have only recently begun incorporating AI into their curricula. During a recent visit to Seoul, we met with Itziar de Ros, Vice President of IESE, to ask about the core competencies required of business leaders in the AI era. She identified three key traits: expertise, a spirit of service, and integrity. #IESE #mba #businessschool Copyright ⓒ Maeil Business Newspaper. All rights reserved.
