Bob Moritz, chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a global accounting and consulting company, advised not to miss this opportunity as Korea could become a global hub for "clean supply chain" (manufacturing with eco-friendly processes). As eco-friendly regulations are introduced in the manufacturing process in advanced countries such as the U.S. and Europe, Korea with related technologies is drawing attention. Moritz made the remarks at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos in a talk with Jang Dae-Whan, chairman of Maegyeong Media Group. He also stressed that South Korea should not choose a particular country between the United States and China. Although they are forced to make a choice between the two superpowers, they can survive only when they are together with both countries as the center. In particular, he stressed that the U.S. and China should combine as the economy and security are linked. #Manufacturing #uschina #supplychain #semiconductor 0:00 Opening 0:26 The New Manufacturing Sector 2:13 Direction of Korean Companies ¡Ù WKF | http://www.wkforum.org/WKF/2021/kr/ ¡Ù Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/worldknowledgeforum/ ¡Ù Youtube¦¢https://www.youtube.com/wkforum ✻ World Knowledge Forum's lecture contents are copyrighted by Maekyung Media Group.
