Jay Lee, Distinguished Professor at University of Cincinnati and founding director of Intelligent Maintenance Systems (IMS Center) of National Science Foundation(NSF) Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC) and vice chairman of Foxconn Technology Group. He is also co-Founder of NSF-awarded startup companies such as Predictronics. In 2016, Professor Lee was selected as one of the 30 Visionaries in Smart Manufacturing in U.S. by SME in 2016. Previously, he served as director for product development and manufacturing at United Technology Research Center as well as program directors for a number of programs at NSF including the I/UCRC Program. Prof. Lee is currently serving as senior advisor to McKinsey & Co., member of the Global Future Council of World Economic Forum, and Board member of PHM Society etc. His recent awards include MFPT Jack Frarey Award in 2014 and PICMET Medal of Excellence in 2016.
