Register Now for Rare Pandemic Brainstorming with Maekyung’s 21st WKF

The 21st World Knowledge Forum, the largest annual business agenda event held in Asia annually by South Korea’s Maekyung Media Group, invites registration until Friday for a rare virtual brain-storming experience through debates with the world’s most famous pundits, policymakers and entrepreneurs. 


The 21st World Knowledge Forum with the title of “Pandenomics Perspective: Shaping New Global Symbiosis” will be held virtually from September 16 to 18, with all discussion sessions available for replay on webinar platform until the end of the year. Offline sessions will be restricted in line with the Korea government and Seoul city social distance guidelines to curb the spread of COVID-19. 

All lectures and discussion sessions will be live-streamed on a webinar platform, for which registered guests gain an exclusive access through a smartphone app downloaded from Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The app will also come with a messenger, allowing guests to be able to communicate and hold business meetings with one another in real time. Guests will be given a full excess to the event, plus three additional access codes to share with others.  


Registered guests will also receive a package of gifts, which includes Samsung Tab S6 Lite tablet, one-year subscription to Maeil Business Newspaper’s online edition and virtual access to forums on key economic and social issues to be held monthly following the World Knowledge Forum. In addition, all registrants will be given an opportunity to take online MBA courses from China’s prominent educational institution Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business until the end of this year. 


This year’s high-profile speakers include former UK prime minister Theresa May and John Hennessy, chairman of Alphabet, Inc., Google’s parent company. For discussions, Stephen Schwarzman, co-founder and CEO of private equity firm Blackstone, Kevin Sneader, global managing partner of McKinsey & Company, and Angel Gurria, secretary general of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development will participate.
