Samsung Elec looks to further apply blockchain technology in handset devices file -

South Korea’s Samsung Electronics Co., world’s largest smartphone maker, will support blockchain-enabled services in its future devices, expanding application of the cryptographic-based technology following its newest Galaxy S10 smartphone. 

In a contribution published Monday on Samsung Newsroom, Chai Won-cheol, head of product strategy at Samsung Electronics’ mobile division, said that the company will launch smartphones that support blockchain functions, in addition to Galaxy S10, and expand serviced countries after Korea, the United States, and Canada.
