E. Young Song is an economics professor at Sogang University in Korea. He did his PhD work at Harvard University and previously taught at Vanderbilt University in the US. He has been researching and publishing articles on international economics, with a focus on economic integration and growth. He regularly writes columns for major newspapers in Korea. He also serves as a director of the Korea International Economic Association, a consulting member for the Financial Services Commission of Korea and the chair of the Risk Management Committee for H&Q Asia Pacific Korea.
