What is the World Knowledge Forum?
The World Knowledge Forum is a fete of knowledge, the biggest in Asia. It is also known as Asia's Davos Forum (World Economic Forum). Established in October 2000, the World Knowledge Forum gathers more than 200 business and opinion leaders from around the world ranging from environmental and international organizations to world's biggest corporations and institutions. These leaders predict the future and discuss possible solutions for problems that are already, or might become, an issue. The main aim is to highlight the importance of knowledge sharing towards a balanced prosperity of the global economy.

Who can register to the World Knowledge Forum?
Anyone and everyone can register to the Forum. Company CEOs, businessmen in the verge of creating a new business, administration specialists calling for an innovation in team work, investors interested in future technology, and scholars, students and anyone wanting to renew their knowledge are welcome to our Forum.
How do I register if I am interested in attending the World Knowledge Forum?
You can either register online through our homepage, or download and fill out the Registration From and send it to the World Knowledge Forum Secretariat. You will see the Registration Desk during the days of the Forum. It is divided into Participant, Scholarship, Student and Press Registration Desk. Just say your name at the Desk and we will provide you with the program material and bag once we have confirmed your participation.

Where do I ask for information on how I can register to the World Knowledge Forum?

I heard that the sessions are held in English. What if I don't speak English very well?
We provide simultaneous translation. You will be provided with a translator receiver and Korea's best simultaneous interpreters will conduct real time translations in the translation booth inside our venue.
How do I get to the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel?
The Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel is located in Gwangjin-gu, Gwangjang-dong. You can use the hotel's free shuttle bus or public transportation. Please refer to our homepage for detailed description.

I lost my bag and program kit. Is there any way to find them?
The kit (which include the bag, program book, speaker book, program material, souvenir etc.) we give out to our participants are only given out once. Because the designs are the same, there is a high chance of losing your bag if you leave them in the session room. Please understand that we cannot give out the kit again and we urge to take good care of it.
Is there anything I should prepare individually? Are food and beverages provided?
You do not need to prepare anything from your side, but since it is rare for internationally recognized leaders to gather in one place, we suggest that you bring your name card or personal contact information so that you may be able to use the opportunity to build human network. We provide both lunch and dinner.
Can we get the speakers' presentation material?
Although there are cases where we cannot provide the speakers' presentation material because of copyright problems or because of the speakers' personal request, most of the presentation material provided for. We do not hand out the material to non-participants. Each session's summary will be uploaded and anyone can download the file.
